AirCast Cold Therapy combines the therapeutic benefits of controlled compression to minimize hemarthrosis and swelling, and cold to minimize pain. Each Cryo/cuff is anatomically designed to provide maximum coverage to the injured area.
The AirCast Hand and Wrist Cryo/Cuff features therapeutic benefits from controlled compression that minimize edema, hematoma, hemarthrosis, swelling, and pain. This is great to treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tendonitis, and for Post-op. The cuff includes removable support bars for added support. If ordered with a Cooler, a tube assembly and insulation disk are included. The cooler holds enough water and ice for 6 to 8 hours of cryotherapy. When the AutoChill system is used with the Hand and Wrist Cryo/Cuff it should only be used in a medical facility or clinical environment with direct healthcare provider supervision.
