How to Operate Device

Place the apparatus on a flat surface. The back of your head may rest on the U-shaped cushion cushioned on the back, after which the tube must be pumped up in order to mechanically lift up the cushion and pleasantly stretch the neck. As the piston is pumped, the pad will be pulled up the rail, which works to pull the head and stretch the neck. The user can apply as much or as little pressure as needed. By pressing a button, the air is released, and the pad returns to the initial position.

On the back of the unit, there can be a few adjustable clips, which will allow the wedges to pivot for a more individualized fit.

Position for Treatment

ComforTrac's cervical home traction unit is adjustable from 10, 15, and 20 degrees to 25 degrees, with the traction delivered in the supine position. Most treatments will provide adjustments between 10, 15, and 20 degrees, and no further adjustments may be required.
