Bauerfeind ViscoHeel Heel Cushions are made of soft high quality viscoelastic silicone and reduce shock loads to the ankles, knees, hips, and back. This relief reduces pain that is primarily caused above, not below, the heel, such as when the Achilles tendon is inflamed, a “pump bump,” known as Haglund’s deformity, or in knee or hip osteoarthritis. The soft ViscoHeel heel cushions provide immediate pain relief and protect your joints, tendons and ligaments with every step you take.
The new anatomical design supports the hindfoot and smoothly tapers toward the midfoot and facilitates a natural heel-to-toe movement. Slightly wedge-shaped heel cushions are anatomically contoured and are therefore, Right and Left specific, allowing a flush fit in your shoe, so that the shoe, heel cushion, and foot form one stable unit. The cushions also feature a low profile heel rim so they won’t slide in your shoe.
