This Elasto-Gel Hot/Cold Lumbar Wrap is used to supply hot or cold therapy anywhere in an area where a flat, sheet form may be utilized. The Elastogel Lumbar wrap will not leak if punctured and the stretchable design makes the 4-way adjustable field durable, guaranteeing therapeutic effectiveness. Elasto-Gel Therapy Products are intended for delivering heat therapy and soothing cooling therapy for relief of minor muscle pain and joint aches. The therapy will last 20 to 40 minutes for each treatment. The product is placed with clip-on closures and hook-and-loop closures, that allow the user to move about during therapy. Like the other Elasto-Gel products, this one can be placed in the microwave for warming or in the freezer for cooling. It stays soft and pliable, even at temperatures as low as -20 F. About 20 to 40 minutes are spent for each session.

Cleaning Instructions

To clean the Lumbar wrap, remove the outside cover wipe it down with a damp (not wet) cloth using mild soap or disinfectant. Allow the product to dry completely before using it.

Cooling Instructions

Place the Lumbar wrap in the freezer for at least two hours (2). It can be kept in the freezer indefinitely until ready to use.The product will remain flexible even at -20°F.Always store product in a plastic bag while in freezer and make sure to remove the sleeve prior to defrosting the freezer.

Heating Instructions

The most convenient method of heating the product is in a microwave oven. Suggested heating time using a 600-700 watt microwave is 60-90 Seconds per side, using 1100 watt microwave is 60 Seconds per side. Wait one minute (60 seconds) before use. The product should feel WARM to the touch, NOT HOT. Hold the product firmly against the skin for 30 seconds before re-heating*. If the product is not warm enough, heat in 30 second increments and rotate the product each time.

Do Not Get the Products Wet

The gel will absorb water and expand. If the product becomes wet, lay it flat on a table and let it air dry before continuing use. Do not put wet towels under the gel.
