The Ottbock SI Belt provides stabilization of the sacroiliac (SI) joints through direct circumferential compression utilizing the 5 to 1 ratio mechanical advantage pulley system (3 to 1 ratio with the Low Profile model). The SI Belt is prescribed for conservative treatment of sacroiliac strain or arthritis. Applications include: SI joint pain, Arthritis, and Symphylolysis.
The Ottbock Belt has breathable mesh that is comfortable to wear and significantly reduces motion around the sacroiliac joint to provide instant pain relief in most cases. The fast and easy adjustment of the posterior pads and flexible pulley system, gives customized stabilization pressure specific to the patient.
