Description:

Thermophore Moist Heat Pack Units are one of the most popular sources of therapeutic heat in the home. These hot packs are moist, safe and convenient. Available in 4 sizes. Moist heat is more effective than dry heat because moisture transmits heat better than air. The Thermophore Hot Pack has an outer fleece blend cover that draws humidity from the air and retains it. Then when the heat is turned on, the moisture is forced out of the fleece blend and onto the treated area.

The Thermophore MaxHEAT offers the quality and intense heat users have come to expect, plus the added convenience of a pre-set control to leave your hands free. Users turn the heat on and off with simple push-buttons to control the level of heat to their personal preference. If they happen to doze off or become distracted during treatment, the unit automatically shuts off at the end of the current 20-minute cycle.

A treatment takes only 20 to 30 minutes, yet the beneficial results continue for several hours. Thermophore MaxHEAT - Moist Heating Automatic Switch produces its own moisture using humidity in the air. There is nothing to boil or microwave. A convenient hand-held momentary switch, allows the user to maintain the highest temperature possible. you can hold down the heat control switch until you achieve the level of heat you want, then the temperature will be maintained for awhile and gradually decrease in temperature, you are thereby protected from overheating. This is a conveniently do-it-yourself treatment. Simply rest in a comfortable position, place the Thermophore Hot Pack directly on the skin, build up heat quickly, and maintain it as high as you are able to tolerate for 15-30 minutes. Inexpensive, Thermophore Hot Packs cost less than many medications and last for years of treatments.

Thermophore technology automatically draws moisture from humidity in the air and retains it in the hot pack's outer flannel cover. The rapid heat rise that occurs when the hot pack is turned on forces the moisture out of the flannel and onto the user's skin, speeding temporary relief to the treated area.

Thermophore temporarily relieves arthritis pain, relieves pain caused by muscle spasms and delivers deep, temporary relief from the aches and pains of an active lifestyle.this product also aids in the treatment of colds with congestion and sinus conditions, many women find monthly cramps can be lessened with the use of a Thermosphere unit placed across their abdomen.

Size Guide:
  • Large/Standard (14”x27”): can be applied to larger areas of the body, including the entire spine, both shoulders, and the legs. Versatility makes this the most popular size.

  • Petite (4”x17”): Designed specifically for use on the neck, throat, sinuses and jaw areas (TMJ).
  • Hand/Muff (cylinder shape): Designed especially for moist heat therapy to the hands, and may also be used on elbows and ankles.
Warnings: Carefully examine before each use. Discard unit if shows signs of deterioration. Follow instructions packed with unit. Do not use on infants, persons with poor circulation or insensitive skin. Persons with diabetes should be especially careful applying heat. Check skin frequently to avoid burns.
