Description: Recommended for persons whose ulnar deviation at the MP joints can be corrected with mild to moderate force. The 3pp Ulnar Deviation Finger Splint - Polycentric provides correction and motion control for persons with deviation of the fingers caused by Rheumatoid Arthritis. Finger pieces can be individually adjusted for control and make it easier for you to take the splint on and off. The hinges ensure free MP flexion and extension during day-time wear. The 3pp Polycentric Ulnar Deviation Finger Splint fits the top of the hand, leaving the palm free for gripping objects. This patented polycentric hinge allows full flexion (bending) and extension (straightening) of the fingers. This splint is meant for day-time wear. It offers moderate control, which promote protection and rest through partially immobilizing the joints, while offering support. For a night time splint for ulnar deviation, please use 3-Point Comforter Wrist Splint. Please refer to the guide below before making your size selection. Sizing Guide Instructions: Lay hand flat and measure width across the hand from the 2nd to 5th MP (large knuckles). To assure that splints are properly prescribed and fit, you should see your health care provider before ordering so they may assist you in choosing the correct size and splint style for your condition. 3-Point Products is not responsible for incorrect or improper sizing, fit or use of splints.
