Original “Gentle Wave Pattern” Material Still the World Standard for Kinesiology Tape Superior Adhesion, Minimal Irritation
SpiderTape is considered to be the world's premium kinesiology tape. It is manufactured from Nitto Denko Tape - the original kinesiology tape from Japan. Others have tried unsuccessfully to duplicate the Nitto Denko formula, but none have been able to match its quality, durability and comfort.
SpiderTape is made from soft, breathable, high-grade cotton with a 100% acrylic, hypoallergenic adhesive. It contains no latex or medicinal ingredients. The gentle wave pattern allows moisture to flow from the tape, which enables it to adhere to the body through sweating, swimming or showering. Most applications can be worn for up to 5 days.
How Does SpiderTape Work?
The unique combination of the thinness, elasticity and adhesive wave pattern allows SpiderTape to microscopically lift the skin, creating a space between the skin and the underlying tissues. This relieves pressure and irritation on the underlying pain receptors, which often results in a rapid relief of pain. It also reduces pressure on the lymphatic drainage system, allowing it to more effectively remove fluid causing swelling and edema. These qualities create a therapeutic tape of unsurpassed quality that can used as a sports tape or athletic tape just as effectively as a medical tape.
What Makes SpiderTape Special?
Because SpiderTape has an almost identical thickness and elasticity as human skin, it is completely comfortable to wear. It does not compress, bind or chaffe sensitive areas. The SpiderTape method of kinesiology taping involves applying the tape over and around muscles and joints, rather than encasing them in tape, as traditional athletic taping does. This allows SpiderTape to provide support while still allowing users to maintain a healthy range of motion. This feature is especially appreciated by athletes and injured individuals who need to continue their activities as they recover from an injury.

If you have sensitive skin, you should test a small piece of Kinesiology Tape on the skin first. Should this cause irritation, no more tape should be applied
